 HOW TO PLAY 3-CARD POKEER

Poker, the five-card game of poker that is so popular and has become a profession, is something we're all familiar with. But what about 3-Card Poker!

This game is a variation on Stud Poker. You can play against the dealer to get extra excitement.

Here is more information about this game and how it can be played.

HISTORY OF 3 CARD POKER

Traditional Poker could have been derived from many sources. Scholars link the game to a Chinese 10th Century Emperor, an ancient Persian game called As Nas, as well as the European game "Poque," which was brought with the French to America.

Three-Card Poker didn't become popular until 1994. Derek Webb developed the game and then patented it two years later. His goal: to offer a speed poker option to people who don't have to invest a lot of their time.

HOW TO PLAY 3-CARD POKEER

Three-Card Poker only requires a standard deck, with no jokers. You can have two players play this game, and they can choose to use poker chips if desired.

As the name suggests, each player is given three cards. These three cards give them the ability to decide what they want to do next. There are many options for them:

Ante. Ante. Before the game begins, players have the option to bet against the dealer. To win, players must beat the dealer's poker hand with their final hand.

Play Wager Player who bet on the Ante slot and believes they have a winning hand must match their Ante wager in their Play spot. This Play wager is up against the dealer. They lose their Ante if they don’t like their hand.

Pair Plus. Pair Plus is available to bet if a player has a hand they are interested in playing. This bet is won if their hand equals Straight Flush. Straight Flush, Straight. Flush. Pair. Three of a kind.

Play Both. This move is a combination of the Pair Plus bet (their hands) and the Ante betting (against dealers). They win both if the pair is a pair or higher and also beat dealer's hands.

Ante Bonus. You can get a bonus payout if you bet both the Ante AND the Play. To qualify for this wager, the player must have a Straight, Straight Flush or Three of A Kind.

RULES FOR 3-CARD POKER

Each player must place an Ante bet, or a Pair Plus wager. Each player is then given three cards which they can examine to evaluate their value.

If the player believes that their hand will beat the dealer's they can place the cards face-down at the Play area. They can also make a wager equaling their Ante bet. If they are unsure if their hand can beat the dealer's, they will forfeit their Ante bet. If they win the Pair Plus spot, they will be able to place their cards face-down at their Play spot.

The dealer then sorts the cards into the best possible hand and flips them over to the other players. All players must have a minimum of a queen high in order to qualify. If they don't, their Ante wagers are forfeited. The Ante and the Play bets will be forfeited if the dealer beats a player. Both Ante wagers and Play bets must be placed at 1:1 if a HOW TO PLAY 3 CARD POKER
